About Mrs. Nagy

I was born and raised in Manchester, MO, and went to school in Parkway. First I attended Carman Trails, then South Middle, and finally graduated from South High! I enrolled at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO and graduated with my bachelors in Elementary Education with an emphasis in social sciences. I moved back to St. Louis to student teach at Wren Hollow Elementary in a 5th grade classroom. 
After student teaching, you may have seen me around Barretts as the building TA. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be teaching 1st grade at Barretts this year! Currently, I have teaching certification in elementary education and middle school social sciences.  
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I have absolutely love hanging out with my 18 month old niece and my 7 year old nephew.  We love getting outside to go hiking, camping, and simply enjoying the outdoors.  Other hobbies I enjoy include cooking, baking, and reading.  I also got married over the summer to my high school sweetheart, Jim.
I am really looking forward to the wonderful experiences we will have this year in first grade!  I can't wait until we see what this school year has in store for us!!
